Art Fair | Detroit is a three-day event showcasing contemporary, affordable works ranging from emerging to mid-career artists, making it accessible to the general public. The event is a celebration of art, culture, and community, offering diverse programming designed to enrich and inspire. We have provided no specific prompts or themes for the Art Fair, allowing each artist to approach it in their own way and connect to art buyers directly.   We invite everyone to join us in celebrating contemporary art throughout various locations in Detroit. Experience a vibrant array of exhibitions, installations, performances, music, and engaging conversations.

7pm Opening of the Art Fair at Newlab

8pm Music Performance by Battle Elf

Chris Peters, Dave Hurley and Gretchen Gonzales produce soundscapes of human experience. Like the rushing rivers of traffic jams, the fuzzy guitar meditations of Peters and Gonzales anchored by Hurley’s arrhythmic heart beating percussion takes you on a cosmic journey.
